MICROPROCESSOR RELAY PROTECTION TRAINER

The trainer is based on the NI myRIO platform and is aimed at hands-on studies. It includes a combination of different types of protection algorithms. This trainer allows concentrating on different protection circuits and algorithms that are used in different points of the real power networks. It allows to investigate the logic behind every protection as well as adding new types of custom algorithms using graphical programming language LabVIEW. Each student will have his hands-on trainer for individual work.
